Ergon Ensemble invites British-Iranian experimental composer Shiva Feshareki to SNF Nostos for a unique musical encounter to perform Opus Infinity – A Spatial Composition for Live Electronics (Turntable/CDJ/Analogue-Echo/Ambisonics), Amplified Ensemble and Bespoke Soundsystem. The piece demonstrates the interconnection of sound with the naturally occurring patterns of the universe.

Shiva Feshareki, an ambassador for an experimental turntablism that distorts sounds to create new music, innovative sound effects, and mixes, takes us to the intersection of various artistic scenes to play around with different styles—electronic, club, concert, orchestral music, and free improvisation—while also incorporating elements of art and design. The award-winning composer uses the technology of decades past in her work while also stepping into the future, with her music filling space in three dimensions through advanced 3D orchestration. Richard Morrison, music critic for The Times, called Feshareki’s music “a terrific sonic experience.”
